Fame 760 Series

Hey Cedric,
Thanks for writing. The Hondo you have is a great guitar. They started production in the early 1980s as an alternative to the Fender Strat. New, they ran about $200 to $300 dollars. The pickups were decent copies of the Fender pickups with a little more beef to them which is why people love this particular model. You can get a brief biography of the Hondo company from one of my last posts regarding Hondo guitars. The value of the guitar today is $300 to $400 or more depending on it's condition. What made this guitar stand out was the attention to detail. If you compare the tremolo block to that of a Fender, you'll notice that the Hondo uses a thicker block so it has better sustain. The pickups tend to run hotter than the standard single coil models found in stock Fender guitars. In a nutshell, it's a good guitar to keep and play. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Thanks again for writing....

Johnny

Logoen er typisk for perioden. Et lidt kitchet forsøg på Fender reference.
